Instructor in Hospitality

Job description:
The successful candidate will guide, monitor and assess learners across all levels of qualifications within the hospitality commercial environments, (Bistro and Restaurants). The post holder will actively encourage and support learners through written assessment, portfolio building as well as practical skills development and must have recent industrial hospitality experience. The duties will involve instructing learners (FE, HE, WBL and international students) based at our commercial environments across the college campuses. The successful candidate will be required to carry out assessment and internal verification.

Other duties will include preparing/serving food, health and safety audits, risk assessment, COSHH and food safety audits. Your hours of work will be flexible and may include evening and weekends according to student/business demand.



Skills
The successful candidate will have a related academic/vocational qualification in the Hospitality industry and will be a member of the Institute for Learning (IfL).
